In addition to my research and teaching activities, I have held several academic leadership and service roles at the State University of Maringá (UEM), as well as national-level academic service appointments in Brazil. These roles reflect my sustained involvement in undergraduate and graduate program management, curriculum development, institutional governance, the coordination of open science initiatives within the graduate program, and the evaluation of research and graduate education policies at institutional, state, and national levels.


Undergraduate Program Leadership

Program Coordinator
BSc in Software Engineering

In this role, I am coordinating the undergraduate Software Engineering program, contributing to curriculum design and revision, accreditation processes, teaching allocation, and the alignment of the program with national educational guidelines and industry expectations.


Graduate Program Leadership

Coordinator of the Open Science Initiative
Graduate Program in Computer Science (PCC/UEM)

In this role, I am coordinating actions to promote open science practices within the graduate program, including research transparency, data and artifact sharing, reproducibility guidelines, and alignment with national and international open science policies.

As Program Coordinator, I was responsible for the academic and administrative management of the graduate program, including curriculum planning, coordination of faculty activities, supervision policies, student evaluation processes, and interaction with institutional and national research and accreditation bodies. In addition, I initiated and led the preliminary discussions and deliberations for the creation of the Ph.D. program in Computer Science, contributing to strategic planning, faculty alignment, and compliance with national accreditation requirements.

As Program Vice-Coordinator, I was responsible for the academic and administrative management of the graduate program, including curriculum planning, coordination of faculty activities, supervision policies, student evaluation processes, and interaction with institutional and national research and accreditation bodies. I was also one of the main contributors to the design and proposal of the Ph.D. program in Computer Science, which was formally submitted in 2019 and approved in 2020.


Professional and Multidisciplinary Program Leadership

Multidisciplinary Coordinator
Technical Residency Program in Forensic Sciences

In partnership with: Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education (SETI) and the Paraná Scientific Police
Period: 2022 – 2024

As Multidisciplinary Coordinator, I was responsible for the academic and operational coordination of the Technical Residency Program in Forensic Sciences, a strategic initiative established through a formal agreement between UEM, SETI, and the Paraná Scientific Police. The role involved integrating faculty from multiple disciplines, aligning academic training with professional forensic practice, coordinating resident supervision, and supporting the articulation between the university and public security institutions.

Member of the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Advisory Committee (CABIC/UEM)

In this role, I contributed to the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of undergraduate research scholarship applications, supporting institutional research training and academic development.

In this role, I support the development of Open Science policies and best practices in Brazilian Computer Science, with emphasis on reproducible research, artifact evaluation, and transparent computer science.
